How much does estate planning cost?

Estate planning varies from state to state and what your estate plan entails can vary. This post is for California, and discusses generally what I suggest. Contact me to discuss your particular circumstances.

My plans are for flat fee and include a trust, will, financial power of attorney, healthcare power of attorney, and a deed transferring title of a California residence into the trust. I pay the recording fees on the deed, and I am a notary and provide that service myself. I have a package for married couples and for unmarried individuals. The only extra costs would involve additional deeds.

Why won’t I publish my rates in this blog post? Because every few years, my rates have to change to meet my rising costs. If I forget to update this post, someone will try to hold me to it.

However, if you contact me for an initial consultation, I will provide you with my current flat rate fees.
