Areas of Practice

Estate Planning

Estate Planning involves more than who takes care of your kids or who gets your money when you pass away. Of course, estate planning considers those decisions, but it’s also about making sure that you are cared for if you are ever incapacitated (even if it’s only temporary) and about being strategic in all your decisions. Natasha helps guide you through estate planning options to achieve your goals and address your priorities. A comprehensive plan typically includes a trust, a will, financial power of attorney, healthcare directive, a few other documents to complete the plan, and she handles the deed for your home.

Trust Administration

When someone dies with a Trust, there are a number of steps that need to take place to ensure that the legal and fiduciary requirements are met. Natasha starts with reviewing the trust, and then guides you through the process (notice, accounting, etc.) and she does so with empathy. It’s a lot to manage, and she will help you through it.

Probate

When someone dies with only a Will or with no Will at all, their estate goes through the Probate court process. This involves figuring out assets, debts, and heirs — named and unnamed in a will (if there is one). Natasha will help you navigate this court process and ensure that everything moves as seamlessly as possible.
